Resident Assistant Core Training provides foundational leadership training and best practices for Residence Life Professionals responsible for one or more areas of a university or college residence hall. This course includes 14 modules separated into four categories: (i) preparing for move-in day, (ii) establishing a healthy floor culture, (iii) handling difficult situation, and (iv) self-care. After taking this course, front-line residence life leaders will be equipped to improve resident outcomes related to safety, wellbeing, engagement, and success while avoiding or addressing personal challenges related to anxiety, imposter syndrome, burnout, and delinquency.
